What makes medical technology different
Biocompatible materials
Titanium grade 5 (3.7165), stainless 1.4441 (surgical), PEEK. We machine every material approved for medical use.
Surfaces < Ra 0.8
For implants and instruments we turn surfaces down to Ra 0.4. On request we polish or electropolish for an even smoother finish.

3.1 material certificates, inspection reports for every toleranced dimension, batch traceability. Everything is archived.
Cleaning & packaging
Parts are cleaned after machining and packed free of oil and grease. Individually packed with batch marking on request.
Frequently asked questions
Standard: titanium grade 5 (Ti6Al4V / 3.7165) for load bearing implants and stainless 1.4441 (AISI 316LVM) for instruments. PEEK for non-metallic implants. All materials with a 3.1 certificate.
Standard CNC turned: Ra 1.6. Fine turned: Ra 0.8. Polished: Ra 0.4. Electropolished: Ra 0.2. The achievable finish depends on geometry and material, and we are happy to advise.
We are certified to ISO 9001 and work to the documentation requirements of the medical technology sector. For parts that require ISO 13485 we cooperate with certified partners.
Yes. We produce single parts and small batches for preclinical and clinical testing. Every prototype ships with the full documentation package: certificate, inspection report and drawing.
Cleaned and packed free of oil and grease in protective film. Individual packaging with batch number and barcode on request. We adapt the packaging to your requirements.
Around 30 to 50% above standard CNC parts, driven by the more demanding materials (titanium), tighter tolerances, better surfaces and the additional documentation effort.
