Machine building parts from CNC production
Machine building depends on precision, load capacity and tight tolerances. Our partner shops make the critical components that drive your machines, from prototype to series.
Why machine builders enquire through us
Machining Background
Experts from our team come from machining. They know the requirements for fits, tolerances and materials and review every drawing before it goes to the partner shop.
Complete machining
Turning, milling, drilling and threading in one setup. No re-clamping errors, short lead times.
Flexible quantities
From one-off parts through small batches to large series. Call-off orders and framework agreements are agreed directly with the partner shop.
Tempered steels
Our partner shops machine 42CrMo4, C45, 16MnCr5 and other quenched and tempered or case-hardening steels. State heat treatment in your enquiry.
Documentation on Request
State 3.1 material certificates, first article inspection reports and inspection reports in your enquiry. We place the job with partner shops that provide them.
Spare Parts for Downtime
If a machine is down, put your target date in the enquiry. We look specifically for a shop that can meet it.
How the placement works
From drawing to finished part in four steps. Quote, production, delivery and invoice come directly from the partner shop.
FAQ: contract manufacturing for machine building
Which machine building parts are possible?
Drive shafts, gears, flanges, housing parts, adapters, bushings, pins, fixtures and special components. Essentially any part that can be made by CNC turning, CNC milling or complete machining. We place it with the right partner shop.
Which materials are common in machine building?
Mainly quenched and tempered steels (42CrMo4, C45), case-hardening steels (16MnCr5), structural steel (S235, S355), stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4404), aluminium (EN AW-6082, 7075) and brass. On request our partner shops also machine titanium and special alloys.
What tolerances are possible?
ISO 2768-m is standard. Good shops achieve tolerances down to ±0.01 mm in milling and ±0.005 mm in turning, and H7/g6 fits are routine there. Surfaces down to Ra 0.4 µm are possible.
Are heat treatment and hardening possible?
Yes. State quenching and tempering, case hardening, induction hardening or nitriding in your enquiry. We place the job with partner shops that deliver the parts ready heat-treated.
How does working with machine builders run?
You send us your drawing (PDF, STEP, DXF). Experts from our team review it and get back to you within 24 hours with the right partner shop. Quote, production and invoice come directly from the partner, and framework agreements for series parts are made with it.
What does contract manufacturing for machine building cost?
The price depends on the part, material, complexity, tolerances and quantity. The partner shop states it in its quote. The enquiry and the placement are free of charge for you.
