CNC Parts to Drawing
Send us your technical drawing as STEP, DXF or PDF — we manufacture your components precisely on CNC lathes and milling machines. From 1 piece, quote within 24 hours, ISO 9001 certified.
What does manufacturing "to drawing" mean?
"CNC parts to drawing" means: you provide the technical drawing or 3D model, we manufacture the component exactly to your specifications. Every dimension, tolerance and surface requirement is taken from your drawing and converted into a CNC program.
For the buyer, this is the fastest route to the finished part: no lengthy briefings, no misunderstandings — the drawing is the binding document. We check your documents for feasibility and contact you with any questions before we start.
Whether turned part, milled part or combination component — we can manufacture any geometry that can be produced on a CNC machine.
Which formats do we accept?
We process all common CAD and drawing formats. For the fastest processing, we recommend STEP files with an accompanying PDF drawing set.
STEP / STP
The universal 3D exchange format — contains the complete part geometry. Our preferred format for fastest processing.
PDF Drawing
Classic technical drawing with dimensions, tolerances, surface specifications and material definition.
DXF / DWG
2D drawing data from AutoCAD and compatible CAD systems. Ideal for laser parts and 2D contours.
IGES
Universal 3D format for data exchange between different CAD systems.
Native CAD Formats
SolidWorks (.sldprt), Inventor (.ipt), Catia (.catpart) — we can import all common native formats.

Turning, milling or both?
CNC Turning
For rotationally symmetric parts such as shafts, bolts, bushings and adapters. Short turning up to Ø300 mm and Swiss-type turning up to Ø32 mm.
CNC Milling
For prismatic components such as housings, plates, brackets and formed parts. 3-axis and 5-axis simultaneous machining.
Complete Machining
Turning + milling in a single setup with driven tools. Cross-holes, flats, threads — all in one operation.
Materials for your drawing parts
Precision to your specifications
General Tolerances
Standard to ISO 2768-m (medium). Finer tolerance classes on request — down to ISO 2768-f (fine).
Tight Tolerances
Fit dimensions to IT6, positional tolerances to ±0.005 mm. For both turning and milling precision.
Surface Finish
Roughness down to Ra 0.4 µm (turning) and Ra 0.8 µm (milling). Grinding and polishing on request.
Documentation
First article inspection reports (FAIR), material certificates to EN 10204 (3.1), measurement reports on request.

Frequently Asked Questions about CNC Parts to Drawing
Q1How much does it cost to have CNC parts made to drawing?
The unit price depends on material, complexity, tolerances and quantity. Simple turned parts start from approx. €5–15/piece in series, complex one-offs from €50–100. Send us your drawing — we calculate within 24 hours.
Q2Which file formats do you accept?
STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), DXF, DWG and PDF drawings. Native CAD formats such as SolidWorks, Inventor and Catia can also be imported. For fastest processing, we recommend a STEP file with accompanying PDF drawing set.
Q3Can I send just a PDF drawing without a 3D model?
Yes, a well-dimensioned PDF drawing is perfectly sufficient for quoting and manufacturing. For complex 3D geometries, a STEP file significantly speeds up the process.
Q4From what quantity do you manufacture to drawing?
From 1 piece. We manufacture one-offs, prototypes, small series (10–500 pieces) and large series (1,000–50,000+). Every quantity is individually calculated.
Q5How long does manufacturing to drawing take?
Standard delivery time is 10–15 working days. Express manufacturing from 5 working days is available by arrangement. Prototypes and one-offs often even faster.
Q6Do you check the drawing before manufacturing?
Yes, every drawing is checked by our specialists for feasibility, tolerances and material suitability. We contact you before production starts if there are any queries or optimisation potential.
Q7Can you combine turning and milling in one part?
Yes — our CNC lathes feature driven tools and Y-axis. Cross-holes, wrench flats and milling contours are manufactured in a single setup (complete machining).
Q8Do I receive documentation with the finished part?
On request, we provide first article inspection reports (FAIR), material certificates to EN 10204 (2.1, 3.1) and measurement reports with calibrated instruments. As standard, a 100% visual inspection is performed.
