Q1From what quantity can I enquire?
From 1 piece. We place one-off parts as well as series, each with a shop set up for that batch size.
Q2What does the placement cost?
Nothing. Enquiry and placement are free for you. You only pay for the parts, directly to the partner shop as per its quote.
Q3Which file formats can I send?
Preferably STEP files (3D). DXF, PDF, DWG or a clean hand sketch with all dimensions also work. We contact you if anything is unclear.
Q4How do I pay?
You pay the partner shop directly. It issues the invoice, and the payment terms are stated in its quote.
Q5How long does delivery take?
The partner shop states the lead time in its quote. It depends on complexity, quantity, material and capacity. If it is urgent, put your target date in the enquiry. We will then look specifically for a shop that can meet it.
Q6Can I collect my part?
Collection or shipping is agreed directly with the partner shop. Feel free to put your preference in the enquiry.
Q7What does a single CNC part cost?
It depends on material, size, complexity and tolerances. For one-off parts, programming and setup costs fall on a single piece. The partner shop states the price in its quote.
Q8I have no technical drawing. Is that a problem?
Often yes. Send a hand sketch with the key dimensions and photos of the part. We check whether that is enough for an enquiry and tell you which details are still missing.
